Concrete Sidewalks & Walkways in Bucks County
Cracked, heaved, or uneven sidewalks are a trip hazard and, for public sidewalk, often a township violation notice waiting to happen. First Class Concrete replaces public sidewalk sections and pours new front walks, side paths, and entry walkways for homes and commercial properties across Warminster and Bucks County.
Public sidewalk done to township spec
Most Bucks and Montgomery County townships hold the property owner responsible for the sidewalk out front, and many have specific requirements for thickness, width, joint spacing, and ADA ramps at corners. We know the local requirements and pour public sidewalk that passes inspection the first time.
Tree roots are the most common cause of heaved sidewalk around here. Where roots are the problem, we remove the damaged panels, address the roots responsibly, and re-pour so the walk stays level.
Front walks and entry paths
A new front walk changes the first impression of the whole house. We pour straight and curved walkways, widen narrow paths, and tie walks into steps, stoops, and driveways so the transitions are smooth and the water drains away from the foundation.
Finishes range from a standard broom finish to stamped, colored, or exposed-aggregate walks that match a patio or entry.

FAQ
Sidewalks & Walkways questions before you call
I got a sidewalk violation notice from the township. Can you help?
Yes. This is one of the most common calls we get. We replace the flagged sections to township specification and can coordinate with the inspector as needed.
Do you have to replace the whole sidewalk?
Usually not. We replace the damaged panels and leave sound ones in place, matching the new concrete to the existing as closely as we can.
What about the tree roots that lifted the sidewalk?
We address the roots during removal so the new sidewalk is not lifted again in a few years, and we work within township rules about street trees.
How wide should a front walkway be?
Three feet is a comfortable minimum for a front walk; four feet feels more generous and lets two people walk side by side. We will recommend a width that fits your house and yard.
