Concrete Driveways in Warminster & Bucks County
A properly built concrete driveway outlasts asphalt by decades and handles freeze-thaw winters, road salt, and daily parking without rutting or softening. First Class Concrete installs new concrete driveways and replaces failing ones throughout Warminster, Bucks County, and nearby Montgomery County — with the base, thickness, and drainage done right the first time.
Why driveways fail — and how we prevent it
Most driveway problems trace back to the base. Poorly compacted fill, no stone layer, or a slab poured too thin will heave and crack within a few winters no matter how good the finish looks on day one. We excavate to solid ground, compact a stone base, and pour at a thickness matched to the vehicles that will use it — thicker where trucks or trailers park.
Slope matters too. The driveway has to shed water toward the street or a drain, not toward the garage or the foundation. We set forms to carry water the right direction and shape the apron so it meets the street and garage cleanly.
Replacement, extensions, and aprons
We replace cracked and settled driveways, widen existing ones for extra parking, pour new aprons where the driveway meets the curb, and add turnarounds or side pads. If only a few panels have failed and the rest of the base is sound, Chris will tell you — partial replacement is sometimes the honest answer.
Every driveway gets saw-cut or tooled control joints laid out so cracking is controlled, and a broom finish for traction in snow and ice unless you ask for something different.

FAQ
Driveways questions before you call
How long until I can park on a new concrete driveway?
Plan on keeping cars off for about seven days. Heavier vehicles should wait longer. Chris will give you specific timing based on the weather during the cure.
Concrete or asphalt — which is better for a driveway?
Concrete costs more up front but typically lasts two to three times longer, does not soften in summer heat, and needs far less maintenance. Over the life of the driveway it is usually the better value.
Can you widen my existing driveway?
Yes. We can add width or a parking pad alongside an existing driveway, matching the elevation and finish as closely as possible.
Do you handle the township permit?
Driveway and apron work along the public right-of-way often requires a township permit. We will tell you what your township requires and help with the process.
